When it comes to selecting and developing projects, our operational mandate is a simple one: we choose stories that are worth telling, develop them to their fullest potential and then partner with the right talent and distributors to bring those stories to the world.

Lightstream develops and produces films with strong thematic elements, unique cinematic properties and mainstream commercial potential. Regardless of the genre, we seek to intelligently match the scale, talent and resources to the film’s themes, market potential and plot elements.

Our current projects fall into three distinct categories: tentpole “all-audience” projects, high-quality commercial films, and prestige projects.

The best films can remind us of the glory, tragedy and beauty of our shared human condition, can make that heritage real and immediate, can make it pulsate with emotion and intensity, can bring to life great journeys real and imagined through timeless stories of courage, hope, love and compassion.

There is room in our arsenal for the uniquely cinematic visionary; for strong, intense, artistic films that expand the landscape of cinema, that break new ground and seek to advance the medium while exploring the frailty of man and the paradoxes and mysteries of life.
